Everything went well it took 3 days which is pretty fast for your dealership. Also this could be my conspiracy mind kicking in but my issues was very realted to other repairs and previously done maintenance. So was this missed or was work done poorly before? Where these issues ignored for a later pay day? Well, It finally feels like my issues is fixed although it did cost me alot and I had no idea what it was going to cost until I got the bill.

I checked in and my concerns were noted. The communication after that was zero after that. I had to check in three times on the status off my vehicle. The service rep that checked me in had an emergency and had to leave which I totally understand. I was assured by others that they would reach out to me which they didn't do. I was not offered a loaner over the five days my truck was at your dealership. I picked up the vehicle and most of the checks were done. I had also mention a check drivers assist light that comes on but that was not handled. I hope this can be addressed and I totally understand emergencies and I am not blaming the service rep that had the emergency.

The service appointment I had with Bachrodt Chevrolet was at best disappointing. It was on a Friday at 7am - the first thing I was told on arrival was that my Bolt EUV needed an oil change (really?), tire rotation / alignment, and wipers replaced and that it should take ~2 hours to complete - at that time I asked that the car be plugged in once it was done. At 10am I received a call from a Bachrodt employee indicating the car was almost complete and providing the value of the car, and asking if I would like to trade up to a new EV. I then called at 1pm to find out if the car was ready and was told by the service person that the alignment should be finished in a "few minutes" and should be ready for pickup after the alignment was completed - at that time I asked again that once the car was done if they would plug it in to charge - the service person indicated that was "standard practice" for them. When I arrived at the service department at 2:15pm, I was asked to wait - it was clear there was some confusion between the different service personnel - after ~15 minutes we were told that the car servicing had yet to be started and wouldn't be ready until the end of the day - at that point I asked the service person to plug the car in once it was done and received the "standard practice" response again. When I called to check on the car on Saturday morning before going to the service department I was told the car would be done that morning and I asked again that the car be plugged in - to which I received the response that it's their "standard practice". When I went to pickup the car at Noon Saturday, to my relief the car was complete. When I asked the service rep if the car had been plugged in, he responded no with a to bad so sad attitude, adding insult to the frustration I was already experiencing. When I went out to get the car it became clear that the car was never plugged in as I was told it would be at least 4 times when I asked the question. I've not been lied to so consistently by any of the service departments for any of the Toyota's, Honda's and Kia's that I've owned in the past - needless to say, I will think long and hard about whether I'll ever bring my car back to the Bachrodt service department.

Brought my truck in for an oil change on Thursday March 6th. When I retrieved my truck there were napkins and paper on the passenger floorboard. I didn't think too much about it but I know they were not there earlier. Thank got me thinking that the glove box was opened, looking for the special wheel lock key that would be used for tire rotation. Well, the key was not returned to the vehicle, so I called and left a message with Cass. She called back and said she would check into it then give me a call back. (This was Friday, and I haven't received a call as of yet). I'll call again Monday and additional days if needed. Other than that, the service technician was helpful and explained the benefit of purchasing a 3-pack oil change, which I did.

The oil change and rotation went fine. I had 2 additional things that I wanted checked while the truck is under warranty. Neither issue was resolved. I’m not 100% convinced that the items were actually checked since the advisor did not document these on the work order. Also the service advisor (very politely) tried to upsell me on items that a 14,000 mile vehicle clearly doesn’t need.

The reason giving a poor review is because as a business it important to have good communication and that wasn’t happening with Herman. I left messages on his voicemail and never heard from him. So I stopped asking for him and got better feedback. I wasn’t upset about the car taking 6 weeks for an easy job. I understand that parts can be back ordered and take a while to get. I do appreciate having a loaner vehicle to drive during that time. I would suggest to Herman to just return customers calls even if it’s to tell them the part hasn’t arrived yet.

Almost 2 hours for oil change and tire rotation is a little to long. And the cost for a tire censor replacement you quoted of 198.75 is way overpriced. When I got it fixed at discount tire for 86.00 with labor. Could get two done for what you want to do one.

The receptionist didn't know what she was doing. She had to get assistance twice from coworkers. I bought the $199.00 oil change package, my receipt that I signed for had a total of $199.00 no tax charged. I looked at my credit card charges and I got charged $204 and some change. The package includes oil change,tire rotation and a car wash. I didn't get my car washed, I had to pull back into the garage and ask to get it washed. They didn't dry it so I have water marks all over my car and hopefully they rotated my tires which I have my doubts about. I made my appointment threw my buick app, I applied my points to my services which didn't get applied by receptionist.

Just like any other dealership over priced parts and labor is way too high. Techs don’t get a 1/3 of what the labor is. I would not of even took it to them if all my tools were not in Texas.

I was met quickly and my service intake process was fast. The oil change / service took about the amount of time that I expected. The conclusion was good and I opted for a 3 oil change package (so you know I'll be back). I also asked for a quotation on new tire. The tire selection was minimal, but the advisor assured me that if obtain tires of my choosing, the the service department could mount and balance the. So - new tires in my future. All in all - a very good experience.

This was my first experience with the service dept at Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet. I found the service to be commendable, timely and precise. The staff was superb and very helpful. What is uniquely interesting to me, is the fact that most dealerships are not accustomed to working on EVs. Can, my service agent, was on top of it though. I was fortunate to get Cas, who herself drives an EV so she was very familiar with everything with EVs. My experience has been just the opposite with service departments though. I get the same talk about oil changes and other services usually associated with combustion engines. Not at Lou Bachrodt though. Cas was right on and efficient with this service inspection.

I’m happy, but …….. I asked for an oil change and tire rotation. When I paid, I expected both were done and not told any other details about these items. I found out after inspecting my car that the tire rotation was not done. After talking to my service rep., and her talking to the technician, the rotation was not done due to the tire tread. My point is I should have been told about the rotation not being done, I expected all completed per my instructions when I left the building. So now, I need to try to trust Lou Bachrodt again.

Everything especially my service advisor was outstanding throughout the process. Although this is not your fault, please park the vehicle away from the picnic bench where inconsiderate customers are likely to sit and smoke. Although I chose to walk to my vehicle and could have asked for someone to get the car these people hide thier cigarettes and I have asthma. I Definitely see an improvement at Bachrodt service compared to a year ago. My oil change and tire rotation took about an hour and twenty five minutes. That’s more reasonable than the four hours it took last year. All my lug nuts were reinstalled this time. The high pressure tires were at the correct axle this time. No new dents this visit. So overall getting better.

CJ went above and beyond to take care of me. I had repairs done at another dealership, and they did them incorrectly leading to me losing a brake caliper on the interstate! CJ coordinated a tow for me, which also accompanied my car hauler. He was able to get my truck repaired while also finding and documenting additional bad repairs done. I just came in for an oil change. The you lady that talked to me brought me my cabin filter and engine filter and wanted to change them too. Also talked to me about changing all my fluids since my car recently hit 100000 miles. I had brought to her attention to a tire I was having trouble with that I asked if they could check. She said they will rotate the tires so it would be done. When I got the car back I noted that the tire I had told them about was then on the front right instead of the rear right and it was still low on air. I stopped at Sam’s Club because I bought the tires there and asked them to check it and when they tried the lug nut locks which I had carefully kept track of were not in my car. I called the young lady and she said the tech had replaced them with standard lug nuts. This was not true. I did not give permission for the lug nuts to be changed out and if I had a flat on a trip I would have to have the car towed to fix a flat. I returned to Bachrodt’s and was pretty upset about it and had trust issues about them working on my car. And they just kept saying it was a mistake and I shouldn’t yell at the young lady that mislead me. Now they just keep sending me offers to buy my car towed sell me a new one and my car has a bad vibration at highway speeds.

I had new rear brakes and new tires installed. I took the truck in for the service and was told the wrong tires were ordered and it would be a day late. I was given a loaner and told the truck would be ready around 11:00 the next day. I dropped off the loaner the next day and was told the truck would be ready around noon. Around noon I was told a sensor for one of the tires was broke during installation and the truck would be ready around 5:00 PM. I was given another loaner and returned at 5:00 and picked up the truck. The next day I drove 3 hours to a family event. When I was almost there, an alert appeared on my dash that a tire was low on air pressure. I had to put air in the tire 3 times during this round trip. One tire was losing a pound of pressure about every 20 miles and another lost 7 pounds on the entire trip. I have setup an appointment to have this looked at by the service department. I am hoping that I will have a truck that is a relaxing drive again.

Service was prompt. However, they left two alarm messages turned on. I have to take my supervised driver license test in two weeks. Now what do I do? Make yet another trip to your service department. Not sure if Herman knew how to reset the alarms.

I had to wait over 3 hours for a simple oil change. I waited upstairs for over 2 1/2 hours. Finally went back to service desk and was told they just started the oil change. No one ever came up to let me know progress. I was there over 2 hours before they even started. I was told they were 3 techs down and were busy. Not my problem. Went do they schedule 5 apps for the same time. I was also told they washed me car. They DIDN'T. Patrick was the person who checked me in and seemed to be in a hurry to rush me through. I didn't appreciate being called Miss either. I'm 72 ...my name would have been nice. He never came to update me regarding the progress. All in all I was very dissatisfied with Lou Bachrodt.

Brought in for oil change, tire rotation, and alignment. Was told they couldn’t find not do the tire rotation due to the spline style lug nuts and not having the adapter that was in the bin under the backseat. Truck was there all day (open - close) for an 7am appointment, and alignment was not performed due to “time constraints.” Now I have to find time to bring it back again, defeating the purpose of getting it all done at once.

I have been underwhelmed by the service provided. I had asked, with many other requests for an oil change. That wasn’t done. The first time I went to pick up, there was nobody there to complete my transaction. I went inside and then called the service department on the phone, 15 minutes later, someone showed up. The second time I was there I was asked (and I gladly agreed) to push my service back a day due to staffing. At 3pm the following day I had to call to get the status. I was told it was just finished. I asked about the potential oil leak, yes a cracked gasket. Can you fix it, yes. It was done late on Friday and I could not make it by 6. I was told I could go get it anytime before 6 on Saturday. Nope, close before that. I was told I was “lucky” someone was still there. When I went to my car, it was sitting in the lot unlocked. I did get a bad taste from this lackluster service.

The oil change and tire rotation went as expected. Set appt at 9:00 am as waiting. Checked in should be less than an hour. At 10:00 am asked if car was ready. Was not even started, comment “oh the guy back there does not know what he is doing, he is just a bad employee”. We will get car done 11:00 comes, ask is car ready. “0h yes!” No text messages had to ask. Received text 11:45 am that car was ready to pick up. I had been at work with car for a 1/2 hour.

I brought my 25 equinox in which was the second time. On Monday 21 I brought it in with three problems. 1- a shimmy in the front end when I take off from a stopped position. It stops as I go further. 2 a clunk as I was stopped waiting for the signal to change from a red light. 3- a thick riddle coming from the right real passenger side. It sounds like your coat belt is stuck outside the door. The clunk noise seems gone but none of the other two are fixed. They claim it doesn’t do it for them. I picked it up on the 24 th. The next day I still had both problems. They made a appointment for Monday July 28 th. When I got there I mentioned too Mr Buck that the better business had several reports of other people with those exact problems. He said to me real snotty that you can’t believe any of that. I just let them do their work then. On July 30 they called me and said they could not find any of those problems.as I’m reading the report on the paperwork they said they took it on a test ride and didn’t hear either problems. My statement said when I go 50 to 60 miles a hour. On the odometer is the same mileage ending as starting. How would that be possible to test it if it wasn’t even driven one mile. I picked it up on Wednesday and on my way home I had it happen. I am so so so so angry that I don’t want to bring it back there and I want to take it to Bud Weiser in Beloit. I have no confidence that your people are honest to me. It has less than two thousand miles on in the two months I’ve had it. Is it a lemon or can it be fixed?

Beware of what may be happening to your vehicle while it is at this dealership. I will not return for service or purchase of a vehicle at this dealership. We dropped our off on a Monday morning for a 2-hour recall repair appointment. Call from service tech on Monday at 4:00 pm, “We are pulling into the service bay now, we will need overnight and finish first on Tuesday morning.” Call from customer service rep at 2 pm on Tuesday, “Are you satisfied with your recent completed service?” I said, “I don’t know. Your dealership still has my truck.” I was told maybe the service tech had gotten busy and not called me yet to tell me the truck was done. At 4:30 pm on Tuesday (the same day I had been told by customer service my truck was completed), I called the service tech and asked when I could pick up my truck. He said, “We got backed up today, your vehicle isn’t done yet. It will be done tomorrow.” When I asked about the 2 pm call I received regarding my satisfaction with my COMPLETED service, the service tech said he didn’t know why I was told the truck was marked as “completed” in the computer. At 4:30 pm on Wednesday, I received a phone call from the service tech saying my truck was done and ready to be picked up. When I picked the truck up at 5:00 pm, the truck had 5 extra miles on the odometer and 5 extra miles more than the “mileage out” receipt. The recall service work did not require a test drive. Between the lack of communication, wrong communication, taking more than 48 hours to complete a 2-hour recall service, and no explanation or documentation of the additional mileage put on the truck, my trust and faith in this dealership has been severed, and I will not return to this dealership in the future.

I asked the lady how many oil changes I had she told me I had 4 left on my package. When I go to check out Patrick was very rude and said I didn't have any forced me to pay threaten me he would hold my car until I could get funds to pay and was just a very unpleasant person to deal with. I would have not got my oil change done if I was out of "free" oil changes. 98.07 is outrageous for an oil change.

Good service and diagnostics but extremely expensive . I was shocked to see the actual price with the additions added. Mostly part of the package .. parts, LABOR . I schedule work for my pickup and that is where it started south. The day they wanted to start it they did not have a signed or okayed WO. So I signed it. Then I got a call from Michael Fair asking me questions which I told the lady who opened the WO but she did not put the info all in. Michael took care of it.

your customer service sucks,I took my truck in for what was to be a hour plus job and when I never heard from Patrick Buck I called into customer service I found that know one had even started on my truck.(after 4.5hrs)found out tool they needed was brook and a new one wont be there until 10am tomorrow so they kept my truck over nite.I got a text message next day(4.30pm)my truck was ready for pick up.ipicked my truck which was not washed.(which was promised)

I just had my ball joints replaced 2 months ago and was told everything was fine.. Now I come in for my scheduled oil change and tire rotation and I'm told my front tie rods are bad... I'm sure you would notice worn tie rods while replacing the ball joints, so I'm not too happy with that.

No one Called all day till I called to see what was going on then was told they were not done checking it so I got it and brought it back next morning and again no call till 2:30 till I called . Poor communication throughout experiemce. Vehicle was there for almost 2 months with zero feedback or update from dealership. On day vehicle was ready we received a phone call from GM that vehicle would be ready following week then a call from Lou Bachrodt that it would be ready in an hour. Upon pick up we were told we couldn't have our vehicle until rental was returned to them. This was never communicated and we discussed not pick the rental up from Lou Bachrodt. Offered to stay with our car and have the rental brought in and was refused. In the past I have stayed away from Gm, Chevy, VW and BMW because I have had so many issues with the service department at Lou Bachrodt. Will never go there again! We own a GM and Chevy teuck and 2 BMW vehicles and will take them all elsewhere for service

I’m not sure what happened to the original service crew, but things have really gone downhill. While the current staff are friendly, my last experience was terrible. I tried calling over 15 times just to reach the service rep I was working with, and when they promised me a ride back to the dealership from work, they showed up an hour late. That’s just unprofessional. I’ve been a loyal customer here for 13 years and even bought two new cars from this dealership, but after this, I won’t be coming back. I would not recommend this place anymore—the original crew is gone, and they were the ones who truly cared for customers and delivered great service.

I dont remember the name of the service clerk who handled my appointment. I thought his communication was poor. I saw other reps come to the waiting area and talk with the customer much better than him. He said appointment would be 2 hours. It was 3 hours. Not too bad but no communication from him between hour 2 and 3 to update me. What really upset me was the next day when I left for vacation pulling my 32 ft travel trailer was when we got 45 mins south of rockford and a warning came on my dash that the fuel filter was at 0 percent and needed to be changed. 6pm on a Wednesday going down highway 39 is not a good time to find help. Spent the night in a parking lot of a truck stop. They checked my tires. Wanted to sell me new ones. Replaced my air filters. They couldn't check the dash reading for the fuel filter ? Not happy with your company.

I was hesitant to take my vehicle in for an oil change because of a previous experience I had over a year ago with the former manager, Janet. However, after noticing that she was no longer part of the service department, the environment felt significantly improved. The employees’ morale, along with that of the new manager, was much better compared to how the last manager dealt with a problem caused by one of the technicians that resulted in damage to my vehicle. The new managers promptly addressed the issue without any hesitation. I plan to return for minor services on my vehicle.

Service was fine as expected. My only complaint is that I had scheduled a Friday visit due to my schedule. Dealership ordered the incorrect size tires for my truck, so I had to reschedule my appointment for the following week. Inconvenient since I don't live in Rockford. I would expect a little show of remorse for this inconvenience, maybe $50 off my next service appointment or something like that? Just an $1100 invoice and I was on my way. I don't believe the tires got rotated, and how would I know that? I marked the caps on the valve stems. And they where in the same spot. After I left from oil change. I can bet they didn't take the time to switch the caps. And yes I should have send something that day. Just wasn't in the mood to argue about this issue. People just need to due their job.....

After less than enjoyable experiences trying to work with Chevrolet dealers in WI, I decided to expand my search. Lou was the first IL dealership I reached out to and the entire process was extremely smooth. They had the best price I could find within 500 miles and they didn’t bat an eye when I told them what I wanted on trade. On the day of purchase I drove down (3 hour drive) and everything was smooth. They had everything ready to go. The finance manager was not pushy with the extended warranty or other add-ons, which was appreciated. Adam, the sales rep was informative and walked me through everything I wanted to know about my new vehicle (this is my first GM). I was in and out in less than an hour. It was by far the easiest vehicle purchase I’ve ever made.

I brought my Cruze for repair-issue with ignition coils blowing. I stated it was probably the wiring harness. The service dept replaced the coils which I said had already been replaced twice the previous week for $400. I was charged $1200, but the source of coil issue is still unresolved.. The coils they put in also blew immediately when they drove it. Meanwhile, I made an appointment to test drive a vehicle from your website. Upon arrival I was told the vehicle was never actually acquired. I was offered a different vehicle, which I declined. So I paid $1200 for repairs on a still inoperable vehicle that I have to have towed from the lot. Basically I donated $1200.00 to Lou Bachrodt, and missed work to test drive a non-existent vehicle.

I was charged $190 for a test that was completely unnecessary. At my last oil change, I was told there was a small leak and at this oil change I was told they would look at it more closely by running dye through it. I had no idea that would cost $190… only to find out my car did not have an oil leak at all. I’m severely disappointed.

I wasn't expecting to pay 189.95 just to have my car looked at. I waited 3 hours for you to tell me what was wrong when I informed the tech the problem while setting the appointment. Its a faulty ignition switch that turns on the brights when the turn signal is used. I have had this problem since you recalled my vehicle for a faulty ignition switch/key . The part cost me under $30 dollars on Amazon(GM # 15289426). I believe I should not have been charged this extreme amount or any amount for this matter.

When I dropped off my vehicle for my routine maintenance I let them know I have been having trouble with getting the key out of the ignition. Every time you turn off the vehicle the keys is stuck in the ignition. I asked to have them let me know about any solutions for this serious problem. I was notified that my vehicle was ready for pickup and when I asked about the ignition problem they told me they had no information and didn’t look into it.

Work was completed as promised and expected. I had two minor hiccups with visit. 1) I was thinking my truck would have been washed after service since it was a nice sunny day 2) upon going to my truck, I noticed the wheel lock set wasn't there. I only check this because two visits ago it was missing and after numerous calls and e-mails, I had to bring it back in for a new wheel lock set. Other than that, it went fine
